Frequently asked questions

How do I play?

Tap anywhere to make your comet leap between the two orbit rings around the sun. Thread the gaps in the solar flares and pick up embers. The dive speeds up the longer you last.

How do I unlock the comet colors?

New comet colors unlock automatically as your best score passes each threshold shown on the menu. They can't be bought.

What are embers for?

Embers you collect during a run are banked and spent in the Shop on comet trails. There are no in-app purchases — everything is earned by playing.

What does the shield ember do?

The rare white ember grants a one-hit shield that absorbs your next flare collision, then disappears.

Is there any way to lose my progress?

Your best score, embers, and cosmetics are stored on your device. Deleting the app clears them, and there is no cloud backup, so they don't transfer to a new device.

Does Sundiver need the internet?

No. It works fully offline and makes no network connections.
